In 2004 Rum Cay was blessed with a brand new air strip. It's 4500 ft paved with 500 ft over runs. Right now you will find limited services at the airport.
There were plans for a 5000 sq ft airport building which seem to have fallen through the way-side. Therefore, airport services are somewhat limited. You will not find a toilet or a telephone! So it's best to let someone know you're coming, otherwise, it's a three mile walk into town! |

We ask that you inform us of your ETA and then have your pilot "buzz" over the marina to let us know you're here. Sometimes you may get cell phone service so you can call George at 242-331-2809 for a taxi pickup. |

Clearing Customs Until the airport building is completed all private charter planes must clear customs prior to arriving on Rum Cay. We would suggest clearing in to Stella Maris, Georgetown or New Bight. |
